I was jogging through the woods earlier today. I found myself crossing a winding dark-wood bridge that hovered delicately above the creek on my left and hugged the boulder wall on my right. Suddenly, a tree struck my sight, 30 degrees to the left of center. It was beautiful.

There's tension in this transformation: leaders are wrestling with the counter-intuitive task of showing their vulnerability and imperfection as a new standard of “perfection”, realizing they can’t get there through conformity.
